Testing
Testing of electrical installations and machines is obligatory in order to guarantee the electrical safety. Testing should allways be done according to the appropriate norms. The norm will tell you exactly which parameters you should test and what limits are involved.
Therefor special test equipment is required!
Amelectric offers a wide range of special test equipment for electrical safety testing.
Within the European Union the participating countries are harmonizing their norms into a universal standard, s.a. the EN-norms. Worldwide however the differences are great, often related to the local mains voltages, f.e. the UL- and the CSA-norms.
And than the German TüV-test add their own specific requirements, comparable to our KEMA-approval.
We recommend, in case of an obligatory test, to ask for advice from an expert organisation like KEMA of TNO.
A few very common norms are:
EN60204 / EN61557 / EN60335 / EN60439 / EN60598 / EN60745 / IEC60755 / EN61010 / IEC60950 / IEC61029 / IEC61558 / EN60065 / VDE701 / VDE702 / NEN3140 etc.
At least one or more of below mentionned tests are obligatory:
